What does it mean to be Agile in HR?


Dr Jaclyn Lee
Chief Human Resources Officer
Singapore University of Technology and Design

Jaclyn manages Strategic Human Resources and Capability Development in her current role as Chief Human Resources Officer. She has over 25 years of experience in HR in various industries and before joining SUTD, was the Senior Vice President of Group Human Resources in a large Temasek-linked Company. She has also worked in other senior roles in global companies such as General Motors and NEC Corporation, where she managed HR and capability development for the Asia Pacific region. In NEC Corporation she was appointed by the regional CEO as the Regional Business Expert and Balance Scorecard leader for South Asia.

Jaclyn also sits in various boards and committees in both the public and social service sector where she volunteers her expertise. She has a Doctor of Philosophy (Phd) in Business Information Systems from University of Twente in the Netherlands, Master of Business from SMU, Master of HRM from Rutgers University and a BSc in Psychology from Brandon University in Canada.

Dr Jovina Ang is a recognised leader and practitioner of change, communication and diversity and inclusion. She is also a global speaker, a board member of Kobieta Women and Business, Poland, and a mentor of the Action Community for Entrepreneurship (ACE). And she has authored two books.

Previously, Dr Ang was an award winning corporate executive with more than 20 years of experience working for Fortune 500 companies. She has transformed businesses, reinvented organizational culture, built world-class high performing teams, elevated employee engagement, and enhanced corporate reputation in market leading multinationals such as Microsoft, Dell and Cisco Systems.

Dr Kaufmann holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering. He has more than twenty years of experience in implementing organisational improvements and changes in a wide range of industries. This includes private organisations such as Alstom, Aon, Armstrong, Bao Steel, Bosch, Bosch Siemens Home Appliances, Flextronics, Johnson & Johnson, JP Morgan, Schneider Electric, DB Schenker, Siemens, TCL, TRW, Wilmax Systems; as well as Public Service agencies such as ISCA, MSF, MFA, MinDef, MOF, MOH, MOM, MTI, IE Singapore, Muis and the Kingdom of Tonga.
