Operationalising Ethical & Responsible Generative AI and Data Governance in Financial Services

Operationalising Ethical & Responsible Generative AI and Data Governance in Financial Services

Overview

Responsible Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) Governance equips financial institutions to adopt GenAI responsibly while balancing innovation, customer trust, operational resilience and regulatory expectations. This immersive one-day executive programme introduces practical governance frameworks, decision-making tools and leadership practices to support Artificial Intelligence (AI) adoption across business, technology, risk, compliance and operations functions.

Participants will engage in workplace-centred discussions, financial services case studies, simulations and collaborative activities based on realistic AI implementation scenarios. Drawing on the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) F (Fairness) E (Ethics) Accountability (A) Transparency (T) Principles, Veritas Initiative and Project Mind Forge AI Risk Management Executive Handbook (2025), the programme demonstrates how AI risk materiality, AI lifecycle governance, data governance and human oversight can be applied to manage AI risks effectively.

Designed for middle managers and functional leaders involved in AI-enabled initiatives, the programme focuses on practical application rather than technical AI development. By the end of the programme, participants will be equipped to evaluate AI governance risks, make informed deployment decisions and develop practical governance recommendations that can be applied within their organisations.
