Overview
Carbon accounting has moved from voluntary best practice to a regulatory obligation for Singapore businesses. Listed companies face mandatory International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) aligned climate disclosures from FY2025, and Singapore’s carbon tax rises to SGD 45/tonne in 2026. Supply chains increasingly demand verified emission data from partners.
This two-day programme combines two integrated modules:
Module 1 : Practical Carbon Accounting for Organisations & Unlocking Scope 3 Emissions Reporting — a 1.5-day intensive taught in plain language with no prior sustainability knowledge required. Participants build foundational skills in GreenHouse GAS (GHG) accounting (GHG Protocol, ISO 14064-1, ISO 14083 & Global Logistics Emissions Council (GLEC) Framework), construct an organisational emissions inventory, map Scope 3 categories, and identify tools and 90-day next steps for climate disclosure. Developed by CO2 Connect Pte Ltd, ISO 14083 & GLEC certified and Bureau Veritas validated.
Module 2 : AI, Optimization and Decision Analytics for Decarbonization. This outro extends the carbon accounting foundation by exploring how Artificial Intelligence (AI) prediction models and mathematical optimisation translate emission measurements into operational decisions using an example from the maritime sector, covering fuel consumption modelling Artificial Neural Network (ANN), fleet deployment optimisation, scrubber vs fuel-switching tradeoffs, and green maritime corridors.
Together the programme moves participants from compliance readiness to operational decarbonization.
