A welcoming and supportive community
Residential life at DIVE RC is built on a strong sense of community, wellbeing, and belonging. Two key student leadership groups, the House Guardians and House Committee Members, work closely to foster a welcoming, supportive, and engaging living environment.
What they do
- Foster a close-knit hall community in each hostel block
- Organise hostel-wide bonding events and block-level activities
- Initiate support resources such as mental health infographics and board-game rental

Our Houses
Upon matriculation, all students are assigned to a House in Term 1. House affiliation remains the same throughout your undergraduate journey, irrespective of changes in year of study or hostel residency status, and is lifelong.
Fable
Inspired by the enduring lessons found in fables, Fable is a House that values character, purpose and positive impact. Residents are encouraged to grow through shared experiences, meaningful connections, and actions that contribute to the wellbeing of the community. Signature traits: Purpose | Meaning | Impact
Mythos
Inspired by the stories and legends that shape cultures across generations, Mythos is a House built on connection, belonging, and shared experiences. Rune
Inspired by symbols of knowledge, creativity, and transformation, Rune is a House for makers, innovators, and imaginative thinkers. Through hands-on creation, experimentation, and collaboration, residents turn ideas into reality while building skills, friendships, and lasting memories.
