Mr Amit Midha

Mr Amit Midha, President, Asia Pacific & Japan and Global Digital Cities, is a highly respected and acclaimed business leader in the industry and within Dell. Having worked in US, APJ & China, he has a view to global macro-economic issues while dealing with complex regional operations. He has also been recognised as a visionary, a thought leader with strong views on emerging technologies, spearheading one of the most important business initiatives at Dell Technologies - Global Digital Cities.

Mr Midha is passionate about technology as an enabler in business transformation and has been a key speaker in several external industry forums on topics such as Data Economy, Cloud Adoption, Digital Transformation, Fourth Industrial Revolution, Digital Cities, Sustainability and Emerging Technologies. He has also been part of several think-tank groups/ business councils/advisory groups for brainstorming and policy recommendations on issues of economic and business agenda, overseas expansion, future of mobility and impact of urbanisation on cities.

Mr Midha is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the US-India Business Council and is a member of the Global Future Council on Cities and Urbanization, that serves as a brain trust for the World Economic Forum. He has also been invited to join the high level, multi-stakeholder WEF-Regional Action Group, ASEAN/APAC region comprising of ministers, private sector players, international banks and UN bodies, to form a pan-Asian view towards collaboration

Mr Midha brings insights from leading a highly diverse Asia Pacific Region and focus on Global Digital Cities business with his understanding of impact of urbanisation, impact of leapfrogging technologies on cities of the future and how all of that is changing the way we live and work.
