Prior to joining SUTD, June was the HR Leader, Asia Pacific and Japan at OpenText, a global software company. June spent most of her career mainly in the high-tech sector leading HR in global companies such as Intel Asia Pacific, Hewlett Packard, Micro Focus, SGS-Thomson Microelectronics and City Developments Ltd which are leading employers of choice and trailblazers, best in technology in their respective fields and industry. June’s HR domain expertise spans the Asia Pacific theatre, collaborating with global, international and local stakeholders and peers to make APJ a successful region. June’s professional experience covers a full spectrum of HR expertise across international, regional and local domains to help organisations build high performing teams and to provide fit for purpose and agile HR solutions to fulfil the organisation’s mission and vision and live its values. June holds a BA in Social Science from the National University of Singapore (NUS). She is also a certified solution-focused coach with the Canadian Council of Professional Certification (CCPC) and Clifton Strengths (formerly known as Gallup StrengthsFinder) Coach. June also sits on the HR Board and is a Confidence Curriculum trainer for Daughters of Tomorrow, an NGO which facilitates livelihood for economically challenged women supporting them towards social mobility.
