CK Than — SUTD Bursary

The CK Than — SUTD Bursary is established to provide financial assistance to deserving undergraduates pursuing their studies at SUTD.

Eligibility

  • Full-time undergraduate students enrolled in any year of study in any degree programme at the University; 
  • Are Singapore Citizens;
  • Good moral character and community spirit; and
  • Demonstrated financial need with monthly household Per Capita Income of S$2,250 and below, or the prevailing upper limit for monthly household Per Capita Income as specified by the Ministry of Education for the eligibility criteria for the Higher Education Bursary.

Tenure

  • Each Bursary Award is tenable for one (1) Academic Year only
  • Recipients may reapply to be considered for the Bursary Award in their subsequent year of study, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria

Benefits of Award

  • S$7,500 per Academic Year
  • The Bursary Award shall be applied towards the payment of the recipients' tuition fees only.
  • No bond attached

Things to Note

Bursary recipients must take up the Tuition Fee Grant Subsidy by the Singapore Government

Repayment

No repayment required. The Bursary Award must be refunded in part or in full if student withdraws from studies or have his/her studies terminated prematurely.
