The James Dyson Foundation Machine Learning Award seeks to motivate outstanding students who are enrolled in the 50.007 Machine Learning module offered by the Information Systems Technology and Design (ISTD) pillar.

A cash prize of S$2,500.


The award will be given to the most outstanding student/project team in the 50.007 Machine Learning module. The top student/project team with the highest overall performance at the end of term 5 will be selected for the award each academic year. Selection of the recipient(s) will be made by faculty teaching the course.

The James Dyson Foundation (JDF), Dyson's charitable arm, is armed with a mission to inspire the next generation of design engineers. On the education front, it aims to introduce young people to the exciting world of engineering, encouraging them to think differently, make mistakes and realise their engineering potential – all while igniting their interest and inspiring them to pursue a career in engineering.
