DIVE Global Immersions (DGI)
DGI (2-week) programmes
DGI (2-week) programmes provide longer and deeper overseas learning experiences that allow undergraduate students to engage deeper with host institutions, organisations, and programme partners across Asia.
The extended duration enables students to delve deeper in understanding the regional innovation ecosystem, business landscape and operating environments by spending more time exploring the local industries, organisations, and cultural contexts of the host country whilst participating in more structured learning activities.
These programmes reflect a stronger emphasis on immersive and applied learning aligned with SUTD’s DIVE initiative.
Programme activities
Depending on the programme design, activities may include:
- Workshops organised by host universities or institutions
- Collaborative learning activities with students from partner institutions
- Project-based learning components
- Site visits to companies, start-ups, or organisations
- Discussions with professionals, entrepreneurs, or academics
Learning outcomes
Depending on the programme structure and partner institution, students may be required to produce deliverables such as:
- Project presentations
- Concepts or solution ideas
- Project documentation or reports
- Reflections on their learning experiences

Who can apply?
DGI (2-week) programmes are intended primarily for SUTD undergraduate students, subject to programme requirements and selection criteria.
Application process
Students should review the programme details, eligibility requirements, and application timelines before submitting an application.
Academic credit
Some 2-week DGI programmes may be eligible for academic credit, depending on the programme structure and academic requirements.
Where applicable, eligibility and requirements will be communicated to participating students and remain subject to approval by the relevant academic units.
Selection
Selection of students may take into consideration programme objectives, cohort balance, and available places.
