Approach and expertise
iTrust’s informational technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) resources provide a hyperrealistic, high-fidelity network of IT-OT platforms for cyber security practitioners to conduct cyber research, exercises and capability development.
Testbed datasets
Empowering researchers worldwide
Secure Water Treatment (SWaT)
The SWaT dataset represents a scaled-down, yet high-fidelity replica of a modern six-stage water treatment facility that processes approximately 19 litres of water per minute. Learn more
Water Distribution (WaDi)
The WaDi testbed is a scaled-down, high-fidelity, industry-compliant emulation of a modern water distribution facility. The WaDi dataset has had 16 days of continuous operation: 14 under normal operation & 2 days with attack scenarios. Learn more
Electric Power and Intelligent Control (EPIC)
The EPIC testbed has been operated for 30 minutes under 8 scenarios, to collect a comprehensive dataset including sensor measurements, actuator states and packet capture (pcap) files. Learn more
Internet of Things (loT)
Network traffic dataset collected by a high-interaction IoT honeypots, deployed in the wild for 1.5 years during 2017—2018. Learn more
BATtle of Attack Detection Algorithms (BATADAL)
In collaboration with colleagues from Israel and Cyprus, our faculty and researchers organised BATADAL, a competition to objectively compare algorithm performances for the detection of cyber attacks on water distribution systems. Learn more
Blaq_0
The Blaq_0 Hackathon was organised in January 2018 for SUTD undergraduate students, where independent teams designed and launched attacks on the EPIC testbed. Learn more
Critical Infrastructure Security Showdown (CISS)
CISS, which was originally named the SUTD Security Showdown (S3), enables researchers and practitioners to assess the effectiveness of methods and products aimed at detecting cyber attacks launched in real-time on SWaT. Learn more
